Behzad Ahadpour is the Chief Executive Officer of  MIRK, a Dubai-based design firm specializing in architectural planning, engineering and interior design for hospitality, commercial and mixed-use projects in the United Arab Emirates and MENA region.  He leads a team of professionals with more than 130 years of international experience and a tireless commitment to beauty, creativity and timely execution.  The Mirk team goes beyond engineering and design services, providing also initial market analysis, feasibility studies, financial planning, and operations management. Because of this holistic approach, Mirk consistently delivers highly customized solutions that meet investors’ goals and surpass client expectations, with Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah Sofitel resort standing as the latest example of Mirk’s success.  As the firm’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ahadpour is the strategic force behind Mirk, seeing client visions through from the first sketches to the ribbon cutting. His expertise stretches from the initial design phase to the project’s financing, branding and strategic positioning in the competitive MENA market.  Mr. Ahadpour holds a B.S. in civil engineering from San Diego State University and an M.S. in structural engineering from Long Beach State University.
